this was my third annual renegade in chicago and as all the times before, it did not disappoint. in 2009 i went with my bestie, in 2010 my mom came with, and this year was the mister's turn. i was worried he'd be a grump and follow me too closely, making me rush through booths but... he was awesome. he checked stuff out, asked questions, and let me be when i needed it. i love him beyond words. without further ado, our trip in pictures...
we were a little early, so we watched people set up and ate delicious (understatement!) macaroons from this bakery. so yum.
we kind of fell in love with this coffee.
the highlight of the day was definitely meeting rachel & elsie of red velvet. these girls were awesome, just like on the internet ;).
i can't wait 'til next year!
